Operations Manager (DPUK Data Portal), Swansea University

Catrin Morris leads the operational delivery of the DPUK and Associated Hubs Trusted Research Environment (TRE), overseeing its day-to-day operations to ensure it provides a secure, compliant, and high-quality service that researchers and data owners can trust. Her role is rooted in service to Portal users, data owners, collaborators, and the operational team, enabling the DPUK Data Portal and its Associated Hubs to continue driving excellence in trusted research practices.

With over 20 years’ experience in this domain, and having developed in her role over the past four years at Swansea University, Catrin is dedicated to delivering operational objectives and embedding appropriate training, governance, quality assurance, and risk management frameworks across TRE activities. This includes developing and maintaining SOPs, driving team development and training, and ensuring full compliance with ISO27001 policies and processes.

Contribution to BrainWaves
Through her role with BrainWaves Data Hub, Catrin contributes to supporting the operations of the BrainWaves Hub application, data acquisitions and infrastructure, facilitating researchers in driving forward healthcare advancements and developing a greater understanding of brain health across the life course.
