Expert in governance, risk management, and organisational oversight

Geoff Nicholas is a member of the Audit & Scrutiny Committee at the University of Oxford and serves as a charity trustee and executive committee member of the Alliance for Lawyers at Risk. He has also served as a non-executive director of the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Previously, Geoff spent 38 years at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, including 29 years as a Partner, advising multinational companies on corporate governance and risk management. His career included postings in London, New York, and Hong Kong. He also previously served as Chair of the Board of Governors of a secondary school in Hackney, London.
